If you work under the state of Nevada according to Nev. Rev. Stat. §§ 608.020, the company must deliver the final paycheck immediately to the employee who has been cut off by the employer, or within (3) three days of the date they were terminated. If an employee resigns on their own and quits the same day scheduled to work s/he is entitled to receive their check the next regularly paid date, or within the seven days, the sooner time is best. Under no circumstances can an employee’s check be withheld from an employee, the employers will be given their final paycheck containing compensation for all earned, unpaid wages.
The employer will not make any deductions on an employee’s paycheck except for the laws under Nevada which include: taxes, garnishments, or any contracts that the employee has authorized specifically in writing.
